Great line-up Jim. Are you going to MJ or are you going to try and swing FloydFest?

There will be boots on the ground at Floyd on Wednesday afternoon on the 27th so if you are coming and want us to pitch a tent for you to cave you some square footage, we can do so.

Let me know - there's plenty of time but I'm pretty jazzed about Floyd this year. North Mississippi All Stars were just added to the line-up. I'm guessing late night Friday or Saturday at Hill Holler Stage (where the echoes from Karl Denson's sonic detonation are still bouncing around).

We will definitely try to get to Floydfest, it happens to be the same weekend of the Around Long Island race and I may be crewing on my friends Sailboat for the race.

Got my tix for Mountain Jam already -- woooooo hoooooooooo!!!

lookin' good! i went back in '06 and had a blast in the rain

never heard of the Warren Haynes Band before but apparently there are recordings from this past Christmas jam... gonna have to dig this soon...

from wiki:

"After recording Gov't Mule's By A Thread album, Warren put together a group of musicians which will come to be known as The Warren Haynes Band. The core of the group includes George Porter Jr. on bass, Ivan Neville on keys and Raymond Weber on drums. Also joining them on keys is Ian McLagan, as well as vocalist Ruthie Foster and Ron Holloway on tenor sax. The album, due out in the spring of 2011, will be Haynes first venture into the soul genre.[3] The Warren Haynes Band made their debut performance at Haynes' annual Christmas Jam in Asheville, North Carolina on December 11, 2010.[4]"
